BALANGA CITY — DTI-Bataan was able to register 4,257 business names compared to 3,755 in 2015.
This was reported by DTI-Bataan led by OIC provincial director Nelin Cabahug during the Kapihan sa DTI held at The Plaza Hotel in this component city this morning.
Among the businesses registered trading tops the list with 2,231 registrations; services with 1,966; manufacturing 66; and agri-based with 2 registrations.
Tess Magtanong also reported they staged 55 Small and Medium Enterprise Roving Academy seminars last year.
DTI Bataan also distributed Shared Service Facility (SSF) projects worth 1,729,388 pesos in the towns of Abucay, Bagac, Hermosa, Mariveles, Balanga City and Orani.
This year 2017, among their incoming activities are Pondo sa Pagbabago at Pag-asenso program, Kapatid Mentor Me, Negosyo Centers, Shared Service Facility, and many more. -Mhike R. Cigaral
