BALANGA CITY — Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) launched Tuesday a Consumer Corner at Puregold Balanga City branch.
DTI Provincial Director Nelin Cabahug said it is the second Consumer Corner in the province.
“This program aims to strengthen and promote consumer protection through readily available information materials for the consuming public,” Cabahug stressed.
“With the Consumer Corner, there will be a smooth relationship among the establishment, government, and the consuming public,” she furthered.
For his part, Puregold Regional Manager Daryl Yap vowed to continue their partnership with the government especially with DTI in upholding the consumer’s welfare.
“We are proud that we are the second in the province to launch the Consumer Corner. Protecting our beloved consumers is important to us because their welfare is one of our priorities and at the same time, we value their concerns regarding the management,” Yap said.
Last week, DTI launched its first at Savemore in Dinalupihan town.
