BAGAC, Bataan — Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) launched a Shared Service Facility (SSF) on food processing in Bagac town.
DTI Provincial Director Nelin Cabahug said the newly-launched SSF targets to improve the competitiveness of micro, small and medium enterprises through the provision of equipment, machineries, skills and knowledge under a shared system.
“As a cooperative engaged in processing of cashews, bananas and coconuts, Binukawan Bicol Marketing Cooperative will manage the SSF, and will serve as our project partner,” she noted.
Equipment and machineries at the SSF include packaging materials, cashew butter maker, working tables, cooling rack, dehydrating machine, slicer, bottling equipment for wines, wine storage and digital weighing scale. —Camille Anne S. Bartolome
