MORONG, Bataan — Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) opened Monday its 10th Negosyo Center in Bataan located at the municipal compound of Morong.
DTI Provincial Director Nelin Cabahug said the Negosyo Center will capacitate micro, small and medium enterprises in developing quality products and upscaling their business.
“What we want to achieve here is to develop the micro-entrepreneurs since we believe that the town has the potential to produce more products,” she stressed.
Services of the Negosyo Center include registration or renewal of business name, access to free trainings and seminars, market matching, product labeling and other business advisory services.
Morong Mayor Cynthia Estanislao invited her constituents to visit the facility to avail of the services offered by DTI.
“This Negosyo Center would make business registration easier for residents here in our town. It would also help them access DTI’s programs in creating more business meaning more revenues and job opportunities to uplift their lives,” Estanislao said.
To date, there are a total of 101 operational Negosyo Centers in Central Luzon.
“For Bataan, we plan on having a similar facility in the towns of Abucay and Limay,” Cabahug disclosed.
