The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Zambales launched the Negosyo Center Learning Center in Iba town.

This new facility provides clients with access to a wide range of online learning modules through computer units with internet connection designed to empower local entrepreneurs with critical business skills and resources.

DTI Provincial Director Enrique Tacbad said the establishment of the Negosyo Center Learning Center represents a significant advancement in making tools and resources more accessible to the community.

“This center not only bolsters our efforts in capacity building but also provides an essential space for the beneficiaries of the Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG) Program to develop their skills and enhance their businesses,” he said.

Tacbad expressed optimism that these resources will help entrepreneurs build resilience, create new opportunities, and encourage sustainable growth within Zambales.

Relative to this, DTI conducted an Entrepreneurial Development Seminar on the agency’s services, business taxation essentials, and programs offered by the Small Business Corporation.

It aims to equip about 15 PPG beneficiaries with valuable knowledge and skills for managing and expanding their businesses.

Participants gained insights on financial literacy, essential business management tools, and enhanced access to business support services. (CLJD/RGP, PIA Region 3-Zambales)
