Former President Rodrigo Duterte will miss tomorrow’s Quadcom hearing, according to a letter from his lawyer, Atty. Martin Delgra III, addressed to the House Committee on Dangerous Drugs. Delgra stated that Duterte is “currently not feeling well” and “in need of much rest,” making him unable to attend.
However, the former president expressed willingness to appear before the committee after November 1. Duterte’s absence comes as the committee continues its investigation into key issues related to illegal drugs, a matter central to his administration’s policy during his presidency.
