SAN SIMON, Pampanga – Some 530 flood-hit families in Barangay Sta. Cruz received relief assistance from Eco Protect Management Corporation (EPMC) as torrential rains continued to impact the province.
Led by EPMC President Alainne Tan, the team used boats to navigate floodwaters and personally deliver food packs and essential supplies to affected residents.
“This is our small way of supporting families displaced by the typhoon and southwest monsoon,” Tan said. “We want them to know they are not alone.”
The initiative highlights private sector support in disaster response efforts as local communities struggle with ongoing flooding.
