The third eldest daughter of Governor Lilia Pineda, Esmeralda “Esmie” Pineda, on Monday filed her certificate of candidacy for mayor at the office of the Commission on Elections in Lubao town.
She was zacompanied by her brother, gubernatorial candidate and Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda and three-term Lubao Mayor Mylyn Pineda-Cayabyab, during her filing.
The younger Pineda, who is a newbie in politics, will run under the Kambilan party and is reported unopposed as of press time.
