MANILA – Most parts of the country will experience fair weather and scattered rain showers on Friday, a weather specialist said.
Aldczar Aurelio of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will be experienced over Palawan and the Zamboanga Peninsula.
The same weather condition will prevail over Mimaropa, Mindanao, Western and Central Visayas due to the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) affecting Visayas and Mindanao, he added.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have fair weather and isolated rain showers, and may experience thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening, Aurelio said.
He said PAGASA does not see any low-pressure area that may develop or affect the country.
Light to moderate winds with slight to moderate sea conditions, meanwhile, will prevail over the entire archipelago. (PNA)
