A fake policeman yielded shabu when arrested during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Dau, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
Supt. Juritz B. Rara, city police chief, has learned that a certain “Bacani” was posing as a police officer and selling illegal drugs in the business district of Dau.
Rara immediately formed a team led by Sr. Insp Melvin Florida Jr. to check on the illegal activities of the suspect.
The Mabalacat PNP team nabbed Frederic Bacani alias “Bacani”, 40, of 3202 Villa Paz, Sta. Teresita, Angeles City. Shabu sachets worth P10,000 were found in the possession of Bacani when he was arrested.
Bacani was wearing a police uniform when arrested by authorities. The shabu sachets were taken to the Angeles City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
A .45 cal pistol with five bullets and the marked money were also recovered from Bacani.
