MARIVELES, BATAAN — FIESTA Communities Inc. (FCI), a subsidiary of Hausland Holdings, Inc. (HHI), marked a major milestone in Bataan’s development landscape with the official opening of FAB Central Walk and the unveiling of the Monument of Resilience on Friday, April 25, 2024, at the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB).
The twin events, which fuse culture, commerce, and community, were held at the heart of the FAB, reinforcing the province’s growing reputation as a center for inclusive growth and historical reflection.

The centerpiece of the newly inaugurated walkway is the Monument of Resilience, an installation designed by renowned Filipino artist Abdulmari “Toym” Imao, Jr. The monument draws inspiration from the Bataan Death March and stands as a tribute to the province’s enduring spirit and its people’s ability to rise through adversity. Imao said the artwork honors the past while inspiring a future of hope and progress.
FAB Central Walk is envisioned as a hub for connectivity and commerce, enhancing mobility and attracting tourism and investment. FIESTA Communities sees the development as a strategic platform for linking local communities to broader economic opportunities, especially with its proximity to various FIESTA residential projects across Bataan, including in Mariveles, Limay, Hermosa, and Abucay.
“This is more than just infrastructure—it’s a symbol of what our province can become,” said Atty. Christopher Ryan Tan, CEO of HHI, during the launch. “With FAB Central Walk, we’re enabling stronger community ties and commercial integration.”
The ceremonial program included messages from local officials and stakeholders, led by Mariveles Mayor Ace Jello C. Concepcion, AFAB Administrator Hussein P. Pangandaman, and Bataan Governor Jose Enrique S. Garcia III. All expressed support for the initiative and affirmed the local government’s commitment to fostering growth through meaningful partnerships.
Tourism Department Head Jesus Russel Maninang and Municipal Historical Committee member Almario S. Rubia also gave remarks, underscoring the cultural and historical significance of the site.
FIESTA Communities remains committed to contributing to Bataan’s development, with projects focused on accessibility, homeownership, and sustainable growth across the province.
