First six awardees named in TOFA 2025

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Philippines – The Outstanding Fernandino Awards (TOFA) 2025 has officially recognized its first six awardees for their contributions to various fields, including government service, law enforcement, arts, business, and media. The honorees, who received their plaques during the ceremony, include Dr. Jesus Reynaldo Aquino (Government Service), Fides Cuyugan-Asensio (Arts, represented by family members), PLTCOL. John Lopez Clark (Law Enforcement), Engr. Emer Feliciano (Community Service), Leonard Vincent Garcia (Business), and Gerald Gloton (New Media).

The awards, held annually, celebrate individuals who have significantly impacted San Fernando and beyond. Mayor Vilma Caluag and other city officials lauded the awardees for their dedication, underscoring how their achievements inspire future generations of Fernandinos. The selection committee noted that each recipient demonstrated excellence and a commitment to uplifting their respective fields.

The ceremony is set to continue with the announcement of six more awardees, completing this year’s roster of outstanding Fernandinos. Organizers emphasized that TOFA serves as a platform to honor local talent, hard work, and service, reinforcing the city’s pride in its accomplished citizens.
