Four drug suspects arrested in Bulacan sting

Four suspected drug personalities were arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Meycauayan City Police Station in the early hours of February 10, leading to the seizure of approximately 78.02 grams of suspected shabu worth Php 530,536.

The suspects, identified only as “Marvin,” 39; “Mac,” 33; “Toto,” 35; and “Bebot,” 43, were caught in Barangay Bayugo, Meycauayan City after an undercover police operative successfully transacted with them. Authorities confiscated 18 sachets of suspected shabu, which were turned over for proper documentation and disposal.

PBGEN Jean S. Fajardo, regional director of Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3), praised the operatives for their swift action and issued a stern warning against those involved in the illegal drug trade. She emphasized that law enforcement would continue pursuing individuals and syndicates involved in drug trafficking.

“This arrest is a clear signal that the PNP will not stop until we rid our communities of illegal drugs. Let this serve as a warning—there is no place for drug traffickers in our society,” Fajardo said, urging the public to report any suspicious activities.

The suspects are currently detained at the Meycauayan police station and will be facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Authorities said further investigations are ongoing to determine possible links to larger drug networks.

The Police Regional Office 3 continues to call on communities to support anti-drug efforts, stressing that public cooperation is crucial in ensuring safer and drug-free neighborhoods.
