CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – Wilfredo Salvador of San Juan was the first to be nailed to the cross on Good Friday, April 18, following his reenactment of Christ’s Passion through the “Dalan ning Guinu.”
Three more crucifixions followed: Fernando Mamangun of Sta. Lucia, Ruben Enaje of San Pedro Cutud, and two penitents from Barangay Del Pilar, continuing the city’s decades-old tradition observed by thousands of devotees and tourists during Maleldo 2025.
