MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – Mayor-elect Gerald Guttrie Aquino and Vice Mayor-elect Marcos “Jun” Castro Jr. were officially proclaimed winners by the city board of canvassers, defeating the tandem of incumbent Mayor Crisostomo Garbo and his daughter, Councilor Win-win Garbo.
In a Facebook post, Aquino thanked voters in Kapampangan, vowing honest and dedicated service to Mabalacat residents. “Dakal a dakal pung salamat… Asahan yu pu na maging yang tapat at malinis ing kanakung pamanungkulan,” he said.
