CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA—Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda assured the Muslim community in Pampanga of the provincial government’s unwavering support as he led the “Kapitolyo sa Barangay” program in Barangay San Pedro of this city on Thursday, March 27.
The initiative was in response to a letter from Acting President Samad Zacaria of the Muslim Community of the City of San Fernando, requesting aid for Ramadan and a personal meeting with the governor. In response, Governor Delta organized the program, where 599 Muslims from Brgy. Juliana, Lourdes, Calulut, San Nicolas, Sto. Rosario, and San Pedro gathered to receive assistance.

During the program, Governor Delta emphasized equal treatment for all Kapampangans, regardless of faith.

Each attendee received cash and food packs from the provincial government. Zacaria expressed his gratitude, recognizing the impact of the said assistance on the Muslim community as they marked the end of Ramadan.

Meanwhile, Governor Delta assured the Muslim community of his support, pledging to continue initiatives that promote their welfare and strengthen their inclusion in Pampanga’s development efforts. —Jasmine Jaso/G.O.
