William Dar as guest speaker along with PNP Chief Police General Archie Gamboa, Governor Garcia, Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando, Zambales Gov. Hermogenes Ebdane, Hermosa Mayor Jopet Inton, Gapan City Mayor Emeng Pascual and other local officials from different provinces, cities and towns of Region 3.
“Andito sa Region 3 yung mga freeports and economic zones kaya even before this pandemic marami itong naibibigay na trabaho sa ating mga kababayan at karehiyon kagaya ng Clark Freeport, Subic Freeport, Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) at iba pang mga economic zones,” Gov. Garcia told newsmen covering the event.
Garcia, presently the Chairman of Regional Development Council in Central Luzon, added that after the Covid-19 pandemic, he believes that Region 3 will be once again one of the major sources of job generations in the country thereby helping the national government’s plan to decongest Metro Manila.
“Siguradong isa sa mangunguna ang ating rehiyon na magbibigay muli ng trabaho, para yung mga taga (nasa) Metro Manila na taga Region 3 ay dito na lang magtrabaho at hindi na magsiksikan sa Metro Manila.
The 3rd-termer Governor also believes that Central Luzon will maintain its status as one of the fastest growing regions in the country.
Meanwhile, Grand Innovasia Concept Corporation (GICC) and GICC Properties Development Corporation represented by Brix Gonzales, two of major FAB investors have donated 1,000 sacks of rice to PNP PRO3 in support of the PNP’s Kaligkasan Food Security and Food Highway Program.
