Governor Joet Garcia led the monthly Bisita Bayan program of the Provincial Government by visiting the town of Mariveles and joining their flag-raising ceremony together with the local officials, Monday morning.
During the Bisita Bayan on this fast progressing municipality, Governor Garcia will spearhead the delivery of basic government services for the rest of the month.
Meanwhile, the entire Bataan Provincial Board led by Vice Governor Cris Garcia held their Monday regular session at the Mariveles SB Hall, along with the entire Sangguniang Bayan ng Mariveles headed by Vice Mayor Lito Rubia.
Governor Garcia also conducted a multi-sectoral dialogue together with Mayor Ace Jello Concepcion to discuss pressing issues in the locality.
In the afternoon, Governor Garcia was joined by his department heads and the Barangay Development Councils of Mariveles to formulate their respective Barangay Master Development Plans. The Governor emphasized the importance of planning from the grassroots level for the betterment of Bataan’s progress.
The Bisita Bayan program is part of Governor Joet Garcia’s thrust to establish a more accessible and responsive government in Bataan. It aims to promote the delivery of government services to the grassroots level and to bridge the gap between the government and the people.
Through this program, Governor Garcia hopes to bring sustainable development and progress to every corner of the province.
