PAMPANGA, Philippines – Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda reiterated her long-standing call to desilt the 34-kilometer Pampanga River, stretching from Arayat and Candaba to Macabebe, Masantol, Lubao, and Sasmuan, out to Manila Bay. She said this is a long-term solution to the worsening floods across the province.
