GRBank, BSP empower students in finance

GRBank, in collaboration with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), recently spearheaded a Financial Literacy Campaign and Piso Caravan aimed at promoting financial inclusion among students at Remedios National High School in Lubao, Pampanga. This initiative specifically targeted Senior High School students in the Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) strand, equipping them with essential financial knowledge and skills to make informed financial decisions.

The campaign is part of GRBank’s broader commitment to fostering financial literacy at the grassroots level, with a focus on empowering the younger generation to better manage their finances. The initiative included interactive sessions that covered topics on budgeting, saving, and the importance of responsible money management.

The BSP’s role in the campaign reinforces its advocacy for financial inclusion across the country, aiming to bridge gaps in financial literacy and encourage responsible banking habits. By focusing on students, BSP and GRBank hope to lay the groundwork for financially responsible future leaders who can contribute to the nation’s economic development.

The event was well-received by the students and faculty, who appreciated the hands-on approach and real-world financial scenarios that resonated with young participants.
