Pampanga Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda urged the Chinese Embassy to tell its nationals to use government designated COVID hospitals inside the Clark Freeport Zone.
This after elements of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Regional Field Unit of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Region III, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the Clark Development Corporation (CDC) closed an illegal medical facility at the Fontana Resorts and Leisure Park on Tuesday.
A villa converted into a seven-bed capacity clinic was raided on Tuesday where a lone patient was currently admitted. The villa was located at 628 Florida St., Fontana Resorts.
Pineda.
Guv. Pineda has also urged the CIDG, FDA and CDC to check on other similar facilities operating inside and outside the Clark Freeport Zone. Clark alone has a designated COVID hospital – Medical City Clark, which is authorized by the Department of Health (DOH) and a quarantine facility, Asian Convention Center, which is located at the Fontana Resorts.
Guv. Pineda lauded the CIDG, FDA and CDC for having conducted the raid inside the Fontana Resorts against the illegal medical facility.
