South Korean stars Han Hyo-Joo and Park Hyung-Sik investigate a dangerous zombie virus in apocalyptic-thriller series “Happiness” starting Monday (April 21) at 10:15 PM on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, TV5, and iWantTFC.
“Happiness” is led by Han Hyo-Joo, known for her role in the hit series “W,” and Park Hyung-sik, who appeared in hit drama series “The Heirs” and “Hwarang.”
The series takes place in the apocalyptic future, where the release of a failed treatment drug “Next” has caused a worldwide pandemic. Those infected by the virus completely regressed into a zombie-like state.
Yoon Sae Bom (Han Hyo Joo), a quick-witted and agile special agent, seizes the chance to move into a coveted government-designated apartment by entering a fake marriage with her high school friend, Jung Yi Hyun (Park Hyung Sik), a detective investigating the spread of the virus. Their plan takes a dramatic turn when the entire apartment complex is abruptly sealed off to control the outbreak. As quarantine measures are enforced, the disease not only spreads fear—but also exposes the social hierarchies and hidden tensions among the residents, revealing their good and evil sides.
