ANGELES CITY – Homegrown real estate company Hausland Development Corporation, on April 5, spearheaded a tree planting activity to mitigate adverse effects of climate change at Hausland Pampanga in Mexico town.
Together with the town’s Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) and Hausland Pampanga Homeowners Association (HPHA), Hausland planted a total of 62 Indian trees along the subdivision’s 26th street.
HPHA president Kristine Bernadette Roxas said the activity signified their contribution to the environmental preservation and awareness in their community as it emphasized the importance of such initiative.
“As Hausland Pampanga residents, we recognize the significance of preserving our environment. This tree planting activity not only enhances the beauty of our surroundings but also contributes to our overall well-being, as most of us react to the presence of trees with a pleasant, relaxed, comfortable feeling of somehow being one with nature. Kudos to Hausland for initiating this activity,” she said.
Setting a responsible development and community engagement, the collaborative effort between the government and private sector together with its citizens emphasizes the collective commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
MENRO Engineer Arvin Siron expressed his gratitude to Hausland for its proactive approach in providing areas for tree planting within the community.
“We commend Hausland for their dedication to the welfare of homeowners and the environment. With their support, more residents will soon enjoy a cooler and healthier atmosphere within the village,” he said.
