In-demand Filipino singers and bands are set to perform at the Lubao International Balloon and Music Festival (LIBMF) 2019.
During the three-day festival, Filipino performers including Bamboo, Moira Dela Torre, December Avenue, Ben and Ben, Shanti Dope, Gloc 9, This Band, I Belong To The Zoo, JK Labajo, and Al James are set to take center stage at night with their electrifying live performances.
Black Eyed Peas member Apl.de.ap, who has Kapampangan roots, is also set to grace the international festival at Pradera Verde in Barangay Prado Siongco, Lubao.
Now on its sixth year, the LIBMF promises to take balloon enthusiasts to “above and beyond.”
On April 5-7, 2019, festival goers can expect over 31 impressive local and international balloons to paint the skies of Lubao. At least 10 of these are special shape balloons.
Exciting new activities will also be in place aside from the usual favorite on-ground and aerial attractions to keep everyone entertained throughout the festival.
The festival showcases the magnificence of the hot air balloons as they take flight early in the morning where the wind and weather conditions are most ideal.
Aside from enjoying the night breeze and the live performances, the hot air balloons also come out at night for a spectacular display of added entertainment.
Other activities during the festival include off-road and rallycross races, ultralight and motor paragliding shows. The main activity area will be surrounded by different booths that will sell food, clothing, souvenirs, and sponsor exhibits. There will also be a carnival area and an outdoor zoo.
The festival will culminate with a fireworks display every night.
Tickets to the festival are priced at P350 per day while entrance to the flying area is at P500 per person. Tickets are available online at http://www.smtickets.com, in all SM ticket outlets nationwide and on-site.
