Indian National arrested for murder of fellow Indian in Zambales


ZAMBALES—Operatives from the Candelaria Municipal Police arrested an Indian National who is allegedly a suspect in the shooting and killing of a fellow Indian National on February 8, in Brgy. Dampay, Candelaria, Zambales.


According to Zambales Provincial Director PCol Benjamin Ariola, the primary suspect was apprehended during a hot pursuit operation earlier this morning, February 10, 2026, in Brgy. Palanginan, Iba, Zambales.


The police, led by PCPT Ronand Carpio of Candelaria, in coordination with the Provincial Intelligence Unit, successfully located the primary suspect in the murder case.


The suspect is now in the custody of the Candelaria MPS, and preparations are underway to file a Murder charge against them.


The Hot Pursuit operation continues as authorities work to arrest two other accomplices involved in the crime. “The entire Zambales PNP extends its condolences to the family of the deceased Indian National. Rest assured, we will not stop until all suspects in this heinous crime are apprehended,” said Ariola. (Dante M. Salvaña)
