To promote mindful living and community connection through yoga, the Clark Development Corporation Tourism Promotions Division is once again inviting yogis (pro and beginners) this June 21 at the Clark Parade Grounds to celebrate the 11th International Yoga Day.

Last year, the first ever CDC-led synchronous yoga session gathered hundreds of practitioners in Clark. This is in partnership with India in Philippines (Embassy of India, Manila). In 2014, the United Nations designated June 21 as International Day of Yoga.

“Individuals and businesses specializing in vegan and healthy foods, wellness products, wellbeing apparel, health services, and local farmers of fruits, vegetables, herbs, and plants are also encouraged to join,” Riza Shanti Lim, a Kapampangan yoga coach, wellness guru and vegan chef added.

Recently, the Manila Hotel launched its vegetarian fine dining menu: 8 Spice Curry, Fresh Garden Spring Rolls in Peanut Cream Sauce, Papaine Moringa with Crisps Soup, Fern Salad with Paneer, Vegan Skewers, and Creamed Buko Pandan Plantain with Chia Seeds — all curated by Lim and supervised by its executive chef Konrad Walter.
