Isolated rain showers seen Tuesday

MANILA – Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers will prevail over the whole archipelago on Tuesday as two weather systems continue to affect northern Luzon.

Weather specialist Ariel Rojas, of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), said the frontal system continues to affect extreme northern Luzon, while the southwesterly windflow is affecting the rest of northern Luzon.

These weather systems would cause isolated rain showers and thunderstorms over Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley Region, Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur.

The rest of the country may experience isolated rain showers caused by localized thundertorms.

Light to moderate winds with slight to moderate seas will prevail over the whole archipelago.Meanwhile, Rojas said PAGASA does not see any weather disturbance that may develop or enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility in the next three to five days. (PNA)
