The JICA Alumni Association of the Philippines Inc. (JAAP) hosted its 28th Regional Leaders’ Forum in Pampanga, welcoming over 100 delegates from the ASEAN-JAPAN Friendship Association for the 21st Century (AJAFA-21).
H.E. Kumamaru Yuji, AJAFA-21 chairman and former Japanese ambassador to Cambodia, led the delegation through a series of cultural and historical tours across the province during the three-day event.
Acting Pampanga Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and 2nd District Representative Gloria Macapagal Arroyo extended their support, showcasing the province’s economic growth, vibrant culture, and community-focused healthcare initiatives like the “Alagang Nanay Preventive Healthcare Program.”
The forum emphasized deepening ties between ASEAN nations and Japan through cultural exchanges.
