‘Kapatid Mentor Me’ Trade Fair

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has opened Go Negosyo Tarlac’s “Kapatid Mentor Me” Trade Fair at SM City Tarlac on July 20.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony led by PCCI Tarlac President Alvin P. Belarmino, DTI Tarlac Provincial Director Agnes B. Ramirez and SM City Tarlac Assistant Mall Manager Michelle Charlene B. Chua marked the opening of DTI Go Negosyo Tarlac’s “Kapatid Mentor Me”.

In celebration of the SME week, a 2-day free trainings were conducted to teach the senior citizens, some shoppers and others who were interested to open or to innovate a start-up business. On July 20, a free seminar focused on customer service and handling customer complaints was conducted at the Upper Lobby of SM City Tarlac.

On July 21, free skills training on no bake cakes featuring peanut butter truffles was administered by DTI Go Negosyo Tarlac. And it was being followed by business opportunity seminar on fish and meat processing, calamansi growing/ processing, goat raising and handicrafts making, both held at the Upper Lobby of the mall.

Meanwhile different home-made local products and hand-made crafts were presented and being sold along the main entrance lobby beside Starbucks, SM City Tarlac to drive support for the prosperity of the SMEs especially those who joined the “Kapatid Mentor Me” Trade Fair.
