“Kapitolyo sa Barangay” program resumes in Lubao

Lubao, Pampanga – The Kapitolyo sa Barangay Program has started the year by delivering essential services to Lubao residents.

On behalf of Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and Lubao Mayor Esmie Pineda visited barangays near town centers to assess residents’ needs and provide support.

The program raised awareness about provincial government services, particularly for those needing medical assistance, ensuring that no one is left behind.

To reduce the need for long travel for medical consultations, the provincial government has pledged to provide ECG machines and establish laboratories in barangay health centers.

“Ini pung programa ng Gov, mamye ya pung ditak a saup kareng Kapampangan. Ding tutukan mi pu reng masakit kasi bawat baryu pu na ating health center dinan tana la pung laboratory tests ampong, panulu, at ECG,” the vice governor shared.

Additionally, construction is underway for a P50-million diagnostic building funded by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. The facility, located behind the Lubao Municipal Hall, will provide basic diagnostic services such as laboratory tests, ECG, 2D-echo, and more.

Apart from the nearby barangays, the program also visited coastal areas, including Barangay Bancal Sinubli, Bancal Pugad, and Teresa 2nd.

“Maswelu ku pu king terminu ku na kasaup kula pu di ima ku ampo y wali ku. Saup-saup kami pu para kekayu pu,“ said Mayor Pineda.

The Kapitolyo sa Barangay Program is one of Governor Delta’s flagship programs, ensuring essential government services reach even the most remote areas. As the year unfolds, the Kapitolyo sa Barangay Program has already reached nearly 15,000 residents in Lubao, each receiving cash and food assistance.
