Landbank opens branch at Bataan’s The Bunker

Bataan Governor Abet Garcia on Wednesday led the formal opening of the Landbank branch at The Bunker at the Capitol in Balanga City. 

Governor Garcia was joined by key officials of Landbank led by Sylvia Lim, 1st Vice President of Landbank Central Luzon Group,  along with Vice Governor Cris Garcia, Provincial Administrator Geoff Loyola, Balanga City Mayor Francis Garcia, provincial board members and Capitol department heads. 

Bataan Landbank Manager, Ms. Nenita Lopez in an interview said that the new Landbank branch at The Bunker will be a One- Stop-Shop, offering complete banking and lending services.

Lopez added, around 20 of their lending services staff were pulled-out from their Dinalupihan branch and other banking staff from their Balanga branch were assigned at The Bunker branch. 

Landbank is the second largest bank in the Philippines in terms of assets and is the largest government-owned bank. 

Unlike most Philippine banks, Landbank has an extensive rural branch network with 409 Branches and Extension Offices, 46 Lending Centers and 2,188 ATMs (as of February 2020).

It services many rural sector clients in areas where banking is either limited to rural banks or is non-existent.
