LAPID SIBLINGS LEAD INAUGURATION OF PORAC SPORTS AND CULTURAL CENTER

PORAC, Pampanga — Senator Lito Lapid led the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly built Porac Sports and Cultural Center in Porac town, marking the facility’s formal opening alongside the launch of the Lingkod Lapid Basketball Cup.

Joining the senator were Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) General Manager Mark Lapid and Pampanga Councilors League (PCL) President Maynard Lapid.

The P100-million sports center, initiated by Lito Lapid, features two full-size basketball courts and is expected to serve as a venue for sports and community activities in the municipality.

Porac Vice Mayor Jen Capil attended the event, along with actress Rosanna Roces and several VivaMax stars who joined the celebration.

Basketball teams representing different barangays in Porac also participated in the opening ceremonies, highlighting the start of the local tournament and the town’s renewed push for grassroots sports development.
