ANGELES CITY – Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. cited the efforts and hard work of his fellow government employees in making the City better and at par, which is their “common goal.”
“Allow me to express my sincerest gratitude to all of you for sharing your time and expertise for a common goal — to make our beloved Angeles City better,” he said during his closing statement in the formulation meeting of Executive and Legislative Agenda (ELA) and Capacity Development Agenda (CAPDEV) on November 28 at Hilltop, Mimosa in Clark.
Furthermore, the Mayor said, this is just the beginning of their commitment for the City.
“Pero hindi po dito nagtatapos ang commitment natin para sa ating siyudad. Ang totoo ito pa lang po ang simula ng tatlong taon na pag gawa,” he added.
Indeed, according to him, cooperation and understanding between them is a fundamental necessity to build things together, as well as to achieve things together for the City.
“As our ancient fathers once said – A single tree does not make a forest; a single string cannot make music,” he mentioned.
The Mayor also stressed that he has faith on his fellow government officials. He then reminded them to be dedicated in their work to give the right and just service to the public.
“I have faith in you my fellow government officials. Let us remember that in our hands lie the future of this great city and let us be united at all times for the common good of Angeles City,” he furthered.
