ANGELES CITY – Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. condemned criminal acts in the city, following the arrest of riding-in-tandem suspects by the Angeles City Tourism Auxiliary (ACTA) yesterday.
In a statement from his previous interviews, the Mayor said he will strengthen public monitoring to avoid criminal acts in the City.
“I will not compromise the safety of my constituents. The coordination between the City Government, ACPO, ACTA and other key agencies will remain intact for the maintenance of peace and order in Angeles,” he said.
As part of his programs for 2020, he will push for the installation of CCTVs in blind spots and tourist areas, Korean Town, Friendship Highway, and Fields Avenue.
Lazatin said this is part of the city’s campaign against criminality, assuring the safety of every Angeleno and tourists here.
