Senator Lito Lapid spearheaded the Lingkod Lapid Caravan, distributing financial assistance to various areas in Northern and Central Luzon, including Angeles City and Mountain Province, for those affected by recent typhoons.
In Angeles City, around 500 beneficiaries received aid under the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program on November 21. The senator was joined by his son, Mark Lapid, Chief Operating Officer of the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA), during the payout event.
Residents of Angeles City warmly welcomed the Lapid family, who brought much-needed support to the community.
Simultaneously, the Lingkod Lapid team extended aid to the towns of Tadian and Bauko in Mountain Province, led by Carol Tibayan. A total of 333 beneficiaries, including farmers, senior citizens, solo parents, and persons with disabilities (PWDs), were assisted during the payout in the region.
Beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the Lapid family for the timely assistance, especially during these challenging times.
