PAMPANGA, Philippines – Senator Lito Lapid on Wednesday, April 23, endorsed the senatorial candidates of the Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas during a series of proclamation rallies held in four venues across Pampanga.
Lapid, a native of Porac and a former governor of the province, rallied support among fellow Kapampangans, urging them to back the administration coalition’s slate in the upcoming elections.
Pampanga Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda and Vice Governor Lilia “Baby” Pineda also pledged full support for Lapid and his fellow Alyansa bets, saying Kapampangans stand united behind the candidates who can continue delivering progress to the province.
Among those present at the rallies were Senators Pia Cayetano, Francis Tolentino, and Bong Revilla Jr.; Representatives Erwin Tulfo and Camille Villar; former DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos; Makati City Mayor Abby Binay; former Senator Manny Pacquiao; and former Senate President Tito Sotto.
Lapid also endorsed former Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson, who was not able to attend the events.
The proclamation rallies were held at the Lapid Arena Sports Complex in Angeles City, Laus Events Center, Kingsborough International Convention Center, and the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center in San Fernando.
