Former Provincial Board Member Dexter “Teri Onor” Dominguez through his LOVE TERI Foundation Inc. on Wednesday led the distribution of 45 sets of powered air-purifying respirators and other related medical kits for the health care workers and officials of Abucay Rural Health (RHU) in Abucay, Bataan.
“Bokal Teri”, as he is fondly called by his friends and supporters, said these medical kits are for his hometown’s COVID-19 response efforts in coordination with LGU-Abucay led by Mayor Liberato “Pambato” Santiago Jr.
The medical kits and gadgets includes 1,000 pieces of 3M N95 face masks, Aircube Helmet Kit with powered air-purifying respirator, and PPEs. The brand used for air purifying respirator is said to be approved by a respected doctor from the National Kidney and Transplant Institute or NKTI.
“Huwag po kayong mahihiyang isuot yan para po sa inyong proteksyon yan lalo na sa pagresponde sa ating mga kababayang nagpopositibo sa Covid-19.
Lalo na po yang air purifying respirator, ang alam ko po Abucay RHU lang po sa ngayon ang may ganyang equipment,” Dominguez said during his brief message to the health care workers.
As of November 17, 2021 update of Bataan PHO, Abucay has only 9 active cases of the said disease.
