Mabalacat City was crowned Mutya Ning Kapampangan 2024, besting 21 exceptional candidates from across the province during the grand coronation night held on Wednesday, December 10.
This prestigious title highlighted the city’s excellence in beauty, poise, and cultural representation.
Following Mabalacat City was the City of San Fernando, named first runner-up, followed by Guagua as second runner-up. Sto. Tomas and Sasmuan completed the top five as third and fourth runners-up, respectively.
Special awards were presented to several candidates for their exceptional qualities. Porac earned Miss Congeniality, Sto. Tomas was recognized as Miss Punctual, and Minalin was awarded the Darling of the Press title. Sasmuan was honored as Miss Charity. Mabalacat City, Arayat, Magalang, and the City of San Fernando were recipients of the Miss Gold Care Dental Award. Guagua stood out with the X Face of Teviant and Miss Beautéderm titles, while the City of San Fernando excelled in both the Best in Swimwear and Best in Evening Gown categories.
The competition featured a swimsuit segment and a copper evening gown showcase, with garments locally crafted by distinguished Kapampangan designers.
Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda and First Lady Yolly Pineda graced the event, joined by Vice Governor “Lilia Nanay” Pineda, Ika-453 Aldo Ning Kapampangan Chairman Atty. Ananias Canlas Jr., provincial board members, local leaders, and tourism officers from various towns.
Governor Pineda commended all participants, emphasizing the significance of representing one’s hometown. He stated, “Congratulations to Mabalacat City. I saw how challenging it was for the judges. To all participants, you should be proud to have been part of Mutya Ning Kapampangan. Representing your town is already a significant achievement for you and your communities.”
The provincial government of Pampanga also honored former Mutya candidates and Kapampangan beauty queens who brought pride to the province through their achievements in national and international pageants this year.
Mabalacat City received a crown personally crafted by renowned Kapampangan designer Mak Tumang, while other participating candidates were awarded cash prizes.
The Mutya Ning Kapampangan 2024 is one of the most prestigious events in the weeklong celebration of the 453rd Aldo Ning Kapampangan.
