The Department of Tourism (DoT) is inviting farm tourism owners, hotels and resorts specializing in culinary tourism activities and agri-tourism destinations to participate in the ‘Madrid Fusion Manila’ exchange.
The DoT said culinary, tourism, travel stakeholders can participate as sellers during the exhibit on April 6 to 8, 2017 at the SMX Convention Center, in Pasay City.
“Market your products and services to the World,” according to DoT Region 3 Director Ronnie Tiotuico, who said “internationally acclaimed buyers from around the world would be invited to do business with their local counterparts.”
Tiotuico said “this is one-of-a-kind opportunity for farm tourism stakeholders, professional chefs, food aficionados, and F&B-related companies and trade to come together, learn new things and share their talent, expertise, as well as products to the global market.”

The DoT was pushing for the promotion of the Philippines as a “Center of Gastronomy in Asia” further improving its culinary tourism products. This as two food parks had already opened shop in Pampanga province — the Muceno Open Food Park in Angeles City and the Moderno Food Park in the City of San Fernando.
