JUST IN: President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Thursday, September 11, 2025, issued Executive Order No. 94 officially creating a fact-finding commission to investigate anomalies in flood control projects.
Malacañang said the President would announce the members of the commission “very shortly” following the publication of the EO.
The move comes amid mounting calls for accountability from lawmakers, civil society groups, and church leaders after revelations of ghost and substandard projects allegedly involving contractors, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) officials, and legislators.
