Mabalacat City Mayor Gerald Guttrie “Geld” Aquino on Monday called on the Philippine National Police to strengthen its campaign against criminality, particularly in his hometown, following a string of reported incidents in recent weeks.
Speaking as guest of honor during the flag-raising ceremony at the Pampanga Provincial Police Office in San Fernando, Aquino lauded law enforcers for their successful operations leading to the arrest of high-value targets across the province.

He and Pampanga Provincial Director Col. Eugene Marcelo awarded commendations to police personnel from Mabalacat, Arayat, and Sto. Tomas for their contributions to recent operations.

Mabalacat Police Chief PLtCol. Efren David Jr. pledged heightened peace and order measures in the city, echoing the mayor’s emphasis on good governance, transparency, and accountability. The Pampanga police force currently has 1,700 personnel deployed across the province.
