Mayor Edwin “EdSa” Santiago, together with the City Health Office, assisted Romeo Ferrer, a 66-year-old stroke patient at the Jose B. Lingad Regional Memorial Hospital this morning to attend to his medical needs.
The City Mayor coordinated with the staff of JBLRMH headed by Medical Center Chief II Dr. Monserrat Chichioco to monitor the health condition of Ferrer and provide him with necessary medications.
Ferrer, a resident of Brgy. Lara, has been diagnosed with stroke for already three years but cannot afford to get proper hospitalization due to poverty. With the help of a concerned citizen, his condition was reported to the Local Government of San Fernando and was immediately responded.
