Dinalupihan Mayor Maria Angela “Gila” Garcia on Wednesday led the inauguration of Bataan’s Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF) in Dinalupihan, Bataan.
Mayor Garcia said the project is In support to the Province’s effort to treat COVID-19 mild and asymptomatic cases.
The 40-bed capacity facility is located beside the town’s Bulwagan ng Bayan which consist of 20 air-conditioned rooms for COVID-19 positive cases and another 20 for suspected cases.
Garcia added that each room has its own bed, comfort room, table, chair and blood pressure monitor. The donning and doffing area is located at the triage, for the safety of the health workers.
“Ngayon pong nagche-checklist na po yung DOH, mag- iinspect po sila at dahil coordinated naman po sakanila yung design, lahat ng laman sa loob, yung manpower, yung lahat ng concerns nila na-address natin, hopefully po makapagbigay po sila ng “go signal”, pag nabigay po nila ang go signal, mag start na po tayo,” Garcia told newsmen who covered the event.
The inauguration commenced with a blessing followed by a simple program attended by local government officals of Dinalupihan, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Rosanna Buccahan, DOH Provincial Health Team Leader’s representative Dr. Noel Reyes and Dinalupihan District Hospital Chief of Hospital Dr. Gene Abara.
