HERMOSA, Bataan – Municipal Mayor Antonio Joseph “Jopet” Inton on Monday morning led the distribution of service vehicles to 10 barangays of this first-class municipality.
The distribution was done after the traditional Monday flag raising ceremony at the Hermosa Town Plaza.
Mayor Inton was joined by Vice Mayor Cris Vitug and other local officials.
The local government unit of Hermosa (LGU-Hermosa) has allotted funds for the purchase of the said vehicles but the respective barangays as beneficiaries will also have their share of equity.
Initially, the beneficiaries are Barangay Bamban, Balsik, Daungan, Saba, Sumalo, Tipo, Mabuco, Palihan, Mandama, and Sacrifice Valley,
The said service vehicles will be used by barangay officials and their constituents as service vehicles for social and humanitarian needs in times of medical emergencies. Likewise, they can also be utilized for the maintenance of peace and order, for rescue and relief operations during times of calamities and others.
