HERMOSA, Bataan – Hermosa Municipal Mayor Jopet Inton on Monday met with the newly-installed Chief of Police of this municipality, Police Major Jefferson S. Onde at his office at the Hermosa Municipal Hall.
Major Onde replaced Police Major Madtaib Jalman as OIC-chief of police.
Before his assignment to Hermosa Municipal Police Station (Hermosa MPS), Major Onde served as chief of police of the municipalities of Pilar and Morong, Bataan in recent years. He was assigned as deputy chief of the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company of Bataan.
Onde is a native of Claveria, Masbate who graduated from the Philippine National Police Academy Class 2007.
His classmate, Police Major Joey Sampaga, who is now the present Intelligence Branch chief of Bataan Police Provincial Office, also served as chief of Hermosa MPS.
