ANGELES CITY — In preparation for the Holy Week, Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. has directed the Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (ACDRRMO), led by Rudy Simeon, to strategically deploy ambulances in four key locations across the city.
This initiative is part of OPLAN SUMVAC 2025, a nationwide program designed to assist tourists and motorists during the Lenten season.

ACDRRMO personnel and ambulances are stationed at the following areas:
Caltex Gas Station, Brgy. Pulung Cacutud
Stoplight area, Brgy. Pulungbulu
BPI vicinity, Brgy. Balibago
Outpost near Burger King, Brgy. Anunas
These deployment points aim to ensure emergency response time remains within 10 to 15 minutes.
“We’ve deployed additional traffic enforcers to help our motorists, especially during this Holy Week. We want to ensure everyone’s safety on the road, and we’re doing everything we can to make sure everyone gets to their destinations safely,” Mayor Lazatin said.
OPLAN SUMVAC 2025 will remain in effect until 8:00 p.m. on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025.
