Mayor Lazatin says 13K housing units available for qualified beneficiaries

Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. has announced plans to construct 13,000 affordable housing units in Barangay Mining.

Mayor Lazatin said a Pag-IBIG desk will also be established at the City Hall to provide ease of registration for those who are interested to avail of the housing units.

During his State of the City Address (SOCA) on Thursday, June 29, 2023, Mayor Lazatin has confirmed the signing of agreement with the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) for the development of 13,000 housing units that will be located in 12 buildings with 22 storeys.

“Our efforts to provide decent housing for our constituents, including government workers and teachers, will continue as we identify new areas where we can construct more affordable housing units,” said Lazatin.

Lazatin said this is a landmark project and milestone for Angeles City, through the administration of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., who seeks to provide decent housing development for the Filipinos.
Angeles City is among the beneficiaries for the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program of the DHSUD.

Mayor Lazatin furthered that this is an opportunity of a lifetime for his cabalens to have decent housing, making Angeles City a part of President Marcos’s “1 million housing units per year”. (AC-CIO IMAGES)
