TARLAC CITY — Armed Forces 1st Civil Relations Group, Army 3rd Mechanized Infantry Battalion and Air Force Tactical Operations Group 3 conducted an aerial leaflet dropping activity in selected remote Indigenous Peoples (IP) communities in Tarlac.
The activity aims to prevent communist terrorist groups from advancing their own agenda and taking advantage of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
“Information is imperative to end a crisis. The people in hard-to-reach communities need to be informed on the pandemic and for them not to be deceived by the communist terrorist group, who despite the crisis, advances their evil and terroristic desires,” 3rd Mech Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Norberto Aromin Jr. said.
The leaflets contain information on how to avoid the spread of COVID-19, deceitful tactics of communist terrorists and Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program.
These were dropped from the air to the IP communities in Sitio Pisapungan and Barangay Alunan in Capas, Barangay Maasin in San Clemente, Barangay Labney in Mayantoc and Barangay Maamot in San Jose.
