Building on the success of the previous year’s MC Community Dance Mob, MC launched this year’s Women’s Month celebration with another exciting flash mob on March 3, 2025. Organized by the Women and Gender Institute (WAGI), the Human Resources Division (HRD), the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), and the Marketing Communications Office (MCO), the event brought together students, faculty, employees, and administrators in a dynamic display of unity and empowerment.

With the theme “Towards a Just World: Advancing Rights, Equality, and Empowerment for Women and Girls Everywhere,” this year’s celebration underscored the importance of collective action in shaping a more sustainable and equitable future for women and girls.

The year 2025 also marked the 30th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action (BPfA), a landmark global framework that has driven transformative policies promoting gender equality. Addressing key issues such as climate resilience, digital access, and intergenerational equality, the BPfA highlighted the need for women’s leadership and active participation in decision-making at all levels.
