MNA bets showcase talent

The candidates of Mutya Ning Angeles 2024 showcased their talents on Nov. 6, 2024 at the Systems Plus College Foundation. 

The MNA is a priority project of Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr., co-presented by Beautéderm Corporation. 

Mayor Lazatin thanked SPCF for being the sponsored-venue of the competition.

Out of the 22 candidates, 21 candidates participated in the event. Five candidates from the 22 will be chosen as the top performers who will take the stage on Nov. 9, 2024 at the Pre-Pageant night. 

Among the candidates who performed during the talent portion competition are Reigne Alessandra (Malabanias); Maria Aebhelle M. Sunga (Cutcut); Eingel A. Lumbang (Sapangbato); Shane S. Mallari (Pulung Cacutud); Angel Joy N. Subalisid (Mining); Althea M. Gonzales (Sta. Teresita); Sophia Wingco (Pandan); Irish Mae David Manansala (Balibago); Marchel Ravin Santos (Lourdes Sur East); Kate Z. Sison (Sapalibutad); Jamila Colleen V. Rael (Tabun); Julie Ann P. Calaguas (Sta. Trinidad); Almae D. Bulanadi (Lourdes Northwest); Shauntal Claudio (Margot); Trizz H. De Leon (Cuayan); Clarisse P. Dumlao (Capaya); Mhikaella Vianca De Guzman (Pampang); Louise Jayne M. Paras (Cutud); Hanna Mae Lorega (Sto. Cristo); Arielle Maritoni Dizon Cabatana (San Jose); and Allyson Arceo Hetland (Pandan).

According to Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, also one of the Chairpersons of MNA 2024, the top five (5) candidates during the talent competition, will be informed via text message by the City Tourism Office headed by Anneleen Antonio-Sugui.

Lazatin’s Chief Adviser IC Calaguas also congratulates all the candidates for their effort, hardwork, and confidence in showcasing their talent. Calaguas is also serving as one of the Chairpersons of MNA Working Committee. 

Serving as the panel of judges during the MNA Talent Competition are Norman Tiotuico, a Kapampangan Indigenous visual artist and curator for the Pamitipun Artist Collective; Lance Christian Tan, Chief Executive Assistant and Co-Founder of Albero Creatives; Raymond Gonzales, ALS teacher at Gueco Elementary School; Larry Garcia, Director of Culture and Arts at Systems Plus College Foundation; and Isabel Beatrice Lim, Managing Director of Albero Creatives.

Part of the working committee are Angeles City Economic Development Investment and Promotions Head Irish Bonus-Llego, Rosette Ramos-Biag, Marlon Tuazon, Poklong Guina, Frederick Policarpio, Gerome Esguerra, Cecille Flores-Sanchez, and Marna Dagumboy-Del Rosario. 

The tabulators were Sharm Gonzales and Rachelle Oloya of the Mayor’s Office.

The MNA coronation night will be held on Nov. 28, 2024 at the Grand Palazzo Royale.
